MAYAD STUDIOS

Our dearest Mayad! They are really special to our hearts not because they are Mayad Team, but because from the very first meeting we have had, they showed that it would be possible to be good friends with you and still maintain the same level of professionalism a client-customer relation should have.

We admire them because they are super down to earth. They never regard themselves as 'THE MAYAD' that has been known over different countries, that has been a star to many videographers around the world - they are simply themselves who love what they are doing, same old people who love the company of other people, more so - they have common goal - to keep the Mayad legacy going - that is, share same passion of producing quality cinematography that would make every client cherish each captured life-changing moments because of their creativity and awesomeness.
Sheena - Thank you for being so nice to us from day 1. Since we've met in 6750 Starbucks, you've never changed. You're still the sweet Sheena we've known. Thank you for always entertaining us every time we go to Mayad house. Thank you for introducing us to the coolest people of Mayad! :)
Kat - You're Batad shots were amazing! And you're one of the people I know that never gets tired easily! You're one tough beautiful awesome creative talented girl - you're just amazing! Thank you for being so patient with us. For the lovely and cool barkada shots during Teng's preparation, thank you!!! We were really thankful that we got to bond at some point, you were so approachable and sweet and friendly. We will always treasure our moments together!
Alvin - We wouldn't deny the fact that we were so intimidated when we first saw you. Who would have not? Tall, dark, handsome - quiet and mysterious. But when we finally get along together during our 3-day trip in Batad, we still feel the same - or NOT, or maybe a bit! Haha. Maybe that feeling will never go away - you're the Alvin Paver of Mayad - a star to many Chinese beauties, a celebrity so to speak, and a well respected artist in the industry. Nevertheless, we are very very thankful that you have been part of our Mayad story. You're actually very approachable and fun to be with! Not to mention an all around person - artist, director, shooter, photographer, stylist, critic, carpenter, framer, photo-print quality assurance, cook, dancer, singer, etc.  Thank you for the lovely, fun, relax engagement photos! Not to mention - our Batad shoot was something great too (happen to be)! Thank you so much for helping us and even volunteering your talent for us to have a very elegant, chic and awesome photo gallery - not to mention, our engagement photo book is very well conceptualized! It was very pretty and beautiful and wonderful - something that is worth displaying and we're really proud of!
Shake - You're a genius! Thank you for the very nice story-line that you made for our save the date video. We wanted something that would really reflect our individuality - to show how much of an adventurist and traveler we are and at the same time, showcase how beautiful Philippines can be - and you were able to put it on one creative story. Thank you for helping us conceptualize our Batad engagement shoot and ofcourse the 'Easy-Breezy-Fun-Sunday-Bonding shoot. For the friendship (the same friendship that you've offered to Haidhen Kho), thank you!! :)
Jony - We really never had a chance to work with each other, well probably not face to face - but I know you were behind there helping us - maybe in some admin works, maybe in terms of scheduling and making sure that nobody misses their appointment with us, but the way you treated us was something we're really thankful for. Every time we visit Mayad house and we knock on your private production-room (as I call it), you were the first one to greet us with a huge grinning warm smile. You're very accommodating and friendly! Thank you Jony!
Jenn - THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP! Thank you for being the one who's very excited on our wedding day - that made me realize that I have to be excited too! (haha!), for being the huggable and caring Jenn, for sharing us some tips on how to make a great video,  for listening on our stories, for taking  great photos and for the wonderful layout, and for everything! You are so down to earth that made us easy for us to reach out to you every time we wanted to say something to Alvin (because we think he's intimidating), thank you as well for embracing us not only as one Mayad couple but regarding us as Mayad couple-friend.  We love you Jenn!
Elyne - We met on the day itself and right then I saw a smile on your face that tells me that you're one great person. I only knew you through your rants on facebook about how poor Globe's service is, how incompetent Cebu Pacific staff may be, and how crazy Philippine politics can be. But my instinct doesn't fail me. You are really one great talented girl - not to mention charming and sisterly too! Before I realized it, you were already there chatting with me, expressing how good the food was! Thank you Elyne for the company and for making me feel comfortable during the shoot! And, thank you for the beautiful portrait shots - I look so pretty!!
Jackner - The jack of all traits! And the first person from the bunch of photographers and videographers that we actually get along well together during our 3 day trip in Batad. He's cool, funny, witty, admirable, talented, persistent and determined. He's one of the person who made our tiring-hectic-extreme-Batad-shoot enjoyable! He's funny jokes and witty lines made it one enjoyable ride. When we invited him to be on our wedding as guest, he didn't think otherwise. Even-though he wasn't physycally in Manila that day because he was in his hometown for a short vacation, he still managed to pop on our wedding day at the reception to fulfill what he promised to us. Thank you Jackner for the friendship! And we love the tight shots you made for our Save The Video!
Nick - We don't get along that much during our big day - as it was too hectic and overwhelming, and it was just the first time that we get to be introduced with each other but one thing we have remembered is that you're the one who've been there always waiting for our perfect moment for you to capture. We enjoyed our 'takbo' shots with you!!
Dudz and John Paul - Thank you to both of you for exerting too much effort just to bring and keep the camera and all the equipment safe during our shoot in Batad! I couldn't imagine how tiring it can get! Nonetheless both of you didn't even complain and surprisingly not give up knowing that you barely do some exercise and walking. Till our next Batad/Sagada shoot? Game!? Game!
Fiel - You are amazing and genius and everything! Your look is also deceiving, btw! At first we really thought you're nothing but a serious guy who doesn't even know how to laugh or even smile - that is why we were so nervous when Sheena told us that this 'Rapahel Jamil Pranga' will be our director. Oh shoot!  But when we finally get to work together, we realized that you're one comedian too. Yes - you are serious most of the time, but that's because you're focused on your craft and wants nothing but the very best output. You are really talented - when there's one moving and touching shot and you're the director, I will always tell Teng, "Si Fiel sigurado ang gumawa nyan". Not because your work is far cry from all other videographers (all of you have this unique creative shots) but when its you who's holding the camera, we knew that it will always be perfect. Thank you for being so approachable! Thank you for introducing us to Pat-pats. Thank you for our beautiful videos. Thank you for giving life and justice and beauty to Shake's storyline, thank you for capturing our moments. Most especially, thank you for the friendship!
Again, thank you Mayad for an awesome experience! We wish you all the success! To our next adventure! ;)
